Regular exercise, appropriate for your age and condition will allow you to not only have a healthier life in the first place, but allow you to enjoy a faster, more complete response to your chiropractice treatment. Exercise, preceded and followed by appropriate stretching, stimulate your joints and muscles and helps improve the spine alignment.
Stress It is important that you take some time to relax because stress causes your muscles to tighten and can pull your skeletal structure out of alignment, bringing back your pain. Breathe, relax (don't "try" - just be easy and forgiving with yourself), and take things slowly. Your body is very intelligent and with adequate rest, and regular exercise it can help heal itself - but only if you allow it to do so.
