Back Pain After Spine Fracture
I had fallen and fracture my lower spine. My family doctor told me to walk and it would heal on its own. I could not stand up without pain - I could not lie down, if I did I could not roll over to get up. I was in constant pain and was very depressed for two months. Then a good friend told me about Dr. Mento. Two months after my injury, Dr. Mento evaluated me and fitted me with a back brace that gave me instant relief from pain. Then the next day I started treatments and also a low sugar/higher protein diet.
Dr. Mento took the time to tell me what was wrong with my body by showing me my x-rays and explaining how he could help me. I have learned that I had a lot of problems before the spine fracture and they are all being corrected as much as possible now.
First of all, getting the Atlas back where it belongs and to stay there is a big plus. I am now standing up straight again and no longer list to one side. I like the gentle treatment more than what they were like years ago. I am thankful for the nutrition support and the caring concern for my welfare. I am sleeping better; I have more energy; and my irregularity is no longer a problem. I am feeling more like my old self.

Chronic Pain
Prior to seeing Dr. Mento, I was in distress with health overall. My back and neck were always hurting. I couldn't be as active as I wanted to be. My heart or chest area was in pain when I exercised mildly and I had a lot of eating and digestive problems. Sleeping had been a problem for the last 2-3 years.
Since coming to Harmony Chiropractic Arts I have felt better in body and mind. Thinking there might be an answer to healing is great. My neck feels less pressure as is my lower back. I am sleeping better and my eating habits are improving. I have met wonderful friends here, which is a blessing. Thank you both!
